Due to the largely composite structure of many of the Aircraft under construction today, the necessity for the Aircraft systems to withstand the effects of multiple lightning strikes is more critical than ever.
The latest specification standard, for ARINC connectors used within this domain, specify that many, if not all, signal transmission lines be protected to DO 160 section 22 level 4. We successfully developed and supplied a product that meets this stringent specification.
